Looks like tuesday/wednesday affair. PPN over wales is quite extensive...some suprises?

The way the bbc regional depicted this ppn this evening was to move through south wales apart from the occasional fragmented shower then a predominantly clear night bar a few light showers of rain in early hours (3am onwards) but I'm not sure after they said mainly rain and hail al day then many saw wet snow earlier. :cc_confused:

3.3c in Swindon, this heavy precip heading in May have some wet snow in - especially higher in the Cotswolds

really? looks like its about to hit you head on!!

Bottom part of that radar echo has hit here yeah but it's moving more East than south so looks to miss southern mendips etc

Looks like missing north east Mendip too :cray:  :cray:  Never mind roll on 3am as rest of ppn behind is going in same line or even further north.

Thunder and lightning a few miles north of here, only a couple of seconds between the flash and bang. Now very heavy squally sleet/hail falling which, again, I just had to drive through. Exciting stuff, temp. down to 02.2C.
