Still its melting away here as soon as it passed so need a couple more degree temperature drop over night and then maybe we can see a dusting over 100m again?

If the EC 12z Det is to be believed, the PPN won't make it past Devon. lol.

Yesterday we were too far south and in the warm/wet sector.

Today we are too far north and stay cold but dry. ;)

Wonder what tomorrow will show?

That's a classic, many in the mod thread will not be pleased, especially those who were talking about getting a lot of snow from that slider ;)

That's if the ecm verified of course but the next run will no doubt alter the position again of that low.

I would be very suprised if the West Country didn't get snowfall some time next week.

When? I don't know.

Sometime between 20:00 Saturday evening and 13:00 (a week) Friday for now. :)

I'll laugh if it only effected Cornwall! They deserve some snow anyway. It'd be funny to go into the mod thread if it did!

What's the chances of the w/e and next week turning into 1st week of Feb 09, when our area hit the snow jackpot?

Just wondering....hmmmm

It's about time we saw a repeat of the Feb 78/Jan 82 events in the SW quadrant of the UK.

It's been well over thirty years!

Will 2015 be our year? Most likely not, based on both a warming climate and the law of averages, but there's always a chance.

Dare someone to go into the MOD thread and post something like;

"Good run for those South of the M4, drier North of the M4. Plenty of snow for the South and South West"

;)

Its bad enough when a certain area doesn't get hit by snow, they get bitter and throw their toys everywhere!

I think we'll do alright next week but I won't be getting my hopes up as it always ends rubbish!
