Very heavy sleet and strong winds! :)

Just up the road from me! A friend up on the moors has just told me that heavy snow has hit the moors and the roads are closed.

Oh no...is my video working on here?

Downloaded it and it worked. Lovely and bright lightning and lovely sound of thunder. Well caught. :D

Cold and frosty now with not a cloud to be seen. Had to scrape car to go to pub.

Evenin' all. Well, this is exciting!

Netweather gives me a 40% chance of torrential snow between 3 and 6am, with no snow-to-rain event to follow. Which is nice.

Meto give me sweet fa.

So of course I shall no doubt be up and down to the window all night and ticking the old man right off with the curtain twitching :pardon:

Have a new boss who is a right old dragon, though, so no doubt will have to drag myself into work tomorrow no matter what. :bomb:

Oh yeh, currently 3.7C, DP 0.7C. So a long way to go.

Hmm rain alarm just went off and there's some red in the area of rain to the west maybe this if it hits will bring something of interest. Same here Chris will call it a night at the latest about 11 as got to be up early for work also

In light of tonight's excitement, we have all bypassed the fact that there is a storm brewing for tomorrow night, what can we expect here in the south west? How windy is it going to be?

One wonders how many will be back tomorrow night in here. I worry I'll be one of the deserters!

No drink and driving ;)

I wouldn't dream of it. Just 2 pints. However you must wonder how all these rural villages get any trade people must have a magic fairy take them home..

Just went out in the garden to check on the new weather station and its still running well and while I was out there I noticed how beautiful it was seeing how it was clear overhead but can make out the shower alignment very well :)

Looks like The Osborne, overlooking Meadfoot bay - you staying there?

Yep. That's the place. Travelling back up to Midlands tomorrow. Glad I didn't have to travel home tonight.
