After a dry start to last night snow showers moved down from the W/NW, some of these were heavy but the snow was wet and took a while to settle. Yesterday's westerly gale decreased to a fresh breeze overnight but was still gusty around the showers.

Currently it's dry with a slow thaw of lying snow.
