Sky has gone white again, does anyone know if the NW wind will help or hinder or region?

North Westerly winds normally put us in prime position for showers rattling in off the Irish sea.

It's FINALLY snowing. Very very wet snow, which is surprising given the temperature?

Fine here now, if that's it for the night then we need the temperature to drop away another degree or so and freeze what we've got.

Most disruptive snow NI/Scotland

still decent accumalations away from here, further south

more a wintry mix

Evening just back in from work, the hail showers increased here this afternoon from 2.00 onwards,

some of them where quite heavy but only lasting a short while. Just noticed the police have part of the entrance

to M57 from Switch cordoned off not long after a hail shower, must be an accident.

The roads where quite bad during and just after the showers.

Just checked it's a multi vehicle accident, obviously weather related :(
