1st few frames of the 18z GFS still look promising from 12pm Friday through to the early hours of Sunday morning.

Maybe it is looking OK for some snow/wintry showers tomorrow with -7c 850 temps and the -8c 850's are close by...

Evaporative cooling is an important factor, something which the charts can't take into account, the snowline will drop under any heavy precipitation particularly in these parts, the line showing 250m pulled back SW to the coast, snow likely 100 metres easily here.

Dew points look good, -3c up here, 0c or less elsewhere in the region. This is a very similar set up to what we had a few days ago and I had falling snow on the coast at 70m asl :)

Hmmmmm latest data from my met app is now snow tomorrow Saturday and Sunday and temps back to around 1 or 2...... rouge data or a blip but back on tract

lol promising. Take every day as it comes I think.

Its a better set up i think, 1/2c colder in both ground temps and uppers, just need the ppn
