Sod them, greedy buggers. Get all the sunshine and heat in Summer whilst we get dross. I'll see to it the channel low doesn't materialize!

We'll see mate, 4-5 days away yet, plenty of time for it to be watered back down to the -4/-5 850's which ultimately give rain/hail.

:p

P.S. Only joking with the above haha.

Yeh which happens many times living on or near the coast/wirral. We are overdue a decent one though.

You better backtrack :p

In all seriousness despite the gloom in the MOD thread I see it to be quite a snowy peroid. For you folks especially, much better than the last, MO seem confident with a proper arctic chill...

Already people are looking at t240 for signs of waning! :wallbash:

MO

Much of the UK is likely to be in a cold, showery airstream at first, with sleet and snow showers across northwestern parts of the UK. Gales are likely across northern Britain too. These colder conditions are expected to last through Friday and into the weekend, with further spells of snow and overnight frost and ice, especially across the north of the UK.

eeerrrr yes pls!

Great run from the ecm, plenty to be happy about for our region, and eventually even the one's near the coast... The wait may may well be worth it.

So what's occurring

Cold spell looking promising for next week, Southerners in the MOD thread full of doom and gloom shouting 'downgrades' with each run. Northerners on the other hand are quietly optimistic :-)

To bed very happy.
