According to the graphics its not gonna move in till about 8 and looks like it sinks south well thats my opinion anyway

I agree. Predictive rain/snow route in the MO app doesn't really get the heavier stuff over us.

That more intense part of the front is still moving in a northeast direction, which is good for the more northern parts of the region. Surely that patch just under Isle of Man can't miss Lancashire/Merseyside?

Thats the kind of post I like :)

Believe me if it can find some way to miss us it will

What time do you reckon it will be approx?

I'll go for 5.45-6.30pm for Liverpool.

'But' that radar look good to me. It will stall (ish) over the sea and only very slowly push this way which is good I guess because when its over us it should hang around for a while. I'm expecting it about 8pm.

Looking at the bbc for Chorley it doesn't really have us down for any snow now, but looking at the radar how can that be???

Eh? The use LED's as LED's are kind of perfect for the job. Lighting bills are colossal for the local councils and switching to LED's saves them a fortune.

Also this seems a lot further north than the models were showing, so should be good for Lancashire :)

So tonights the night then. My hopes are set low, I won't be surprised if most of the precip misses us or fizzles out, but it's such a tricky situation. Let's see what happens, try not to get too mad everyone!

Hi all, long time forum lurker but just signed up for occasions like today, fingers crossed this is going to be a good one, haven't had any lying snow around mine for ages, got caught in last Sunday's 15 min blizzard when I popped out to Sainos and that's it!

Do things look good for Salford (Prestwich end) in this snowmagedon event? :D
