That band in the sea was never meant for us anyway. Look to south wales!

been snowing light for about 10 minutes, flakes are still very small though, every flake is settling.

I know you have the altitude, but you are the only person

In the country reporting pretty heavy snow

Not that I dispute what you are saying

C.S

We have heavy settling snow too !!

Snow is now moderate and is putting down a dusting on pavements, car roofs etc, need it to be a bit more intense to start settling properly to give a clean cover. Hard to tell how long it may last, it could simply fizzle in situ. I wasn't expecting much at all at this stage of the evening, so its a bonus and who knows I may wake up to a cm or two cover, would be nice.

Edit above- starting to intensify now and is quickly covering grass, house roofs - all surfaces, temp is about 0.7 degrees and falling..

Yes just had a look on rain today, and that heavier PPN is

Definitely on course for the region, all the PPN in the

Irish sea seems to be looping into S Wales then heading N

If it wasn't for Jan's legs picture I'd be crying about now, the git that nicked my sledge must have stole my snow... can I have permission to cry and grovel for a swig o booze *sigh*.

At least this year I got to see some white stuff, I can't remember any frost in my area last year! There's always Feb

Light snow all night here, on and off, but not one flake settling. Road looks like a typical rainy night scene... shame for all that snow to fall and do nothing :(

On the nw snow radar it looks like it's pivoting slightly with a second area being sucked down to swansea, its like someone has a hoover drawing it in
