Light snow falling here, already giving a covering in exposed places.

A couple of days ago we were forecast heavy snow tonight only for it all to disappear all together off the forecasts in the last 24 hours so this is a pleasant surprise.

Hope everyone else can get in on the action later tonight.

To illustrate my point @ Peter.

Play the radar back, 30 mins ago vs now. The front is beginning to become reinvigorated as it crosses the sea. Now GROWING and INTENSIFYING.

im sorry but its not. I have looked many times and it is weaker and not moving

First few flakes starting to fall here.

If you look at the radar there is quite a big chunk of dark blue south of Knutsford heading straight for us and should get here for 9 I reckon.

Light snow here and settling - well not melting to be truthful, such tiny flakes that it won't amount to anything, however there was nothing showing on the radar and now there's loads.
