That main band out in the Irish sea isn't forecast to reach us, just fizzle in its place for a while. Any precipitation looks to be from around the secondary low, at least looking at precipitation charts.

NMM has been VERY poor with precipitation over the past week or so, and even now it looks a little suspect. This is a nowcast event I'd say

I disagree completely. It has outdone the Euro4 on precip rate and accumulations. It certainly did during the stormy conditions down here last week.
