Any of this likely to reach Cheshire tonight? MetO suggest snow later even though it appears to be downgraded, not looking too promising for the south of the region tonight on the radar so far. Next week still looks promising.

Told you. It always surprises me! :yahoo:

Loving it - I've never actually seen such a wet floor go to white floor and pelting it down  :cold:

I sometimes wonder what our american colleagues ,especially those in upstate New York would make of our desperation for the White stuff ???....

Something along the lines of

"Oh my god that is totally not cool"

Rain rain rain!

RAIN? What's the temp and dew? 1.0C with a -3C DP here!

I have a friend who lives in NY and he says the Brits reaction for snow is one of the funniest things about us!

After spending 20 years in the southern most part of the East Midlands ( Northants ) I'd rather have a rip roaring North easterly any day of the week compared to this !!

Incidentally, here in South Manchester it is just heavy sleeting! Shame, as northern areas of the city seem to be having snow!

Any shower activity seems to be skirting around my locale, though reports of snow falling in a nearby village which is just 3 miles to our East is a little galling but then that's the thing with showers.

Your locale seems to do rather well in these sort of set ups, keep us all posted on the outcome.
