Yep January 2010 and December 2010 were the last 'reasonable' falls here.

2011 nah

February 2012 very little

January 2013 again very little

March 2013 as above

Last winter - nothing to say about that.

Nice to know I am not the only one not to have seen a decent snowy spell since December 2010, we mostly missed the snowfalls of 2013 especially in March when most places were buried in snow Penrith remained dry, thank God I was in Lanzarote!

Are we still on for snow on Tuesday or has it sunk too far south now?

Any reports from Preston-Blackpool? There is a big blob of snow moving in off the sea that will probably hit me in an hour or so. Just wondering what it contains? Sleeps or snow??

Not according to the MetO the front still goes from east to west, whether we get any snow on it is another matter and so far the MetO seem to think it will not amount to much.

Andy

Meant to say west to east !

Rain at Salwick  - bit of a sleety - hail mix

Nothing spectacular as per usual.

How strange. Radar on rain today can't be that accurate, as it's showing blackpool getting hammered at the moment!
