I'm thinking the tail end of this Atlantic storm could bring more mini tornadoes, severe hail storms and some more thundersnow?

I was thinking, ~ .. I wonder what a snownado looks like after hearing the reports of a tornado in Pembrokshire the other day amongst the thundersnow-storms!?

define "mini" tornado

Very gusty here at the moment, has been pretty much all morning although its really starting to pick up now. Next door's just lost his front fence, Edinburgh Airport reporting 48 mph gusts at 11.50z. Charterhall 55mph as of 11.00z

define "mini" tornado

Well according to BBC Wales.. a mini tornado damaged 24 peoples homes.. ~ personally anyone that witnessed that probably wouldn't consider it mini at all.. :p ~ So I refuse to define.. as I guess that's perception :p

I have to admit this one sounds the worst from the few we've had recently.

Sounds like the roofs going to be torn off our hangar.

Wind ramping up even more, not nice on the roads! Gusts close to 70mph.

Same over here, Mountain Road closed and expecting gusts of 70 to 80 mph between now and early evening

Yes, the winds should peak roughly between 2-6pm, veering more westerly over the next few hours then start easing off but remaining strong into the night for a time.

Bit of overhype, for here anyway, perhaps its the direction the winds coming from. It's not even budging the tiles on the roof. The other storms we've had over the past week have taken off quite a few!

Picked up quite sharply over the last 15 minutes, gusts around the 50-60 mark I'd estimate. Our local weather station, Hawarden has recorded a gust of 48 but we're much more exposed and 350 feet higher.
