Had a little covering over night, temp now 1.6, dp 0.9, so I do not expect any more. In fact just looked and it is raining now.

Temperature and dew point both -5 here. I've just spent the last 45 minutes clearing up rubbish in the back garden, as the bloody dog attacked one of the rubbish bags. I had to leave half of it, as it was frozen to the ground

The heavier stuff now over me is snow, one of those days I guess, the little covering that was there very thin, is gone. Not sure it will land, but we will see. At least I'm seeing some snow falling yay.

Woo hoo! Tiny flakes tumbling from the sky, going to put a tub out to catch a few flakes and put them in the freezer for safe keeping!!

Just using METO iPhone app and over next 30 hours on PPN prediction very little PPN for Northern half of this forum thread, ironically some earlier than previously modelled for Souhern half.

GFS 6z seems to suggest more for entire region as we head through tonight/tomorrow.

I've saved a copy of 6pm / midnight PPN for later comparison.

Beautiful morning by the way.

Well the PPN should make it to this region tonight - still the expectation is it stalls out sonewhere over us & swings away SE

May turn to rain / sleet on the coast

The amounts dont look huge

In terms of today the best thing about this cloud & snow in our corner now is its going to essentially put a lid on the cold

Could be an ice day coming up for the SE.....

Cheers for that Steve

Don't think the models are handling tonight's chances at all well.

Still think tonight may throw a few surprises yet
