Morning, a cloudy and fairly calm start here. Mild still at the moment.

Interesting model output this morning ;)

ha we never learn :p

All eyes on a couple of small features which could move through the south of the UK tonight and on Friday, then it looks like next Monday will be one to watch. Heights developing to our north east with an Atlantic front moving eastwards, could be a snow event as the front stalls against the cold air.

For IMBY the chances of anything White over the next 48hrs are getting slimmer and slimmer, it's looking fairly dry tonight into the early hours of tomorrow. The early hours of Thursday shows once again a lot of rain but temps between 8-9*c

I will now focus my attentions towards the early part of the next week as the hunt continues, anything before that would be a massive huge bonus.

Yes all the best to you and your husband to be. Hopefully the weather will be kind for your big day. The main weather event I believe should not reach you until later in the day.

Please forward to all who use this thread some virtual wedding cake :yahoo:

All good fortune for your future together

Dave

Morning all,

Interesting weather today, drove from Southend to London and then up to Nottingham.  11 degrees and rain in the capital, followed by bright sunshine as I crawled up the M1 and its now just 5 degrees here in the Midlands.  Onwards up to Harrogate tomorrow before back to Southend on Thursday, hopefully I will see some white stuff somewhere on that route...

Cheers

FC

All eyes will now be on the temps and dew points I would imagine, we know the precipitation is coming but it's the timing that will be key for us in this small corner of the UK  :gathering:

Midnight & 6AM.

Big upgrade there on the EURO4, been waiting for the 06z to come out all morning. Surely they must have this nailed now.

Or maybe another upgrade later on the 12z for tonight's snow potential. Showers moving in from the west are looking pretty fierce!

I have been watching my little snow flake symbol on the MetO appear and disappear for Wednesday. Oh look it's gone again

I know, strange.

EURO4 upgrades, while the Met removes most of snow symbols around the London area anyway.

Cloudy here now, feeling cooler but no precip so far today, keeping an eye on the radar.
