The front is now beginning to push in-

Watch out for the dewpoints to start dropping from the SE later in the eve,

There is a LOT of of PPN out in the channel arcing NNE ( NNN - even NNW)

Expect rises in surface temps but as long as the dewpoints drop then the snow will come & then drop the surface temps...

Always optimistic as ever...

Dont panic mr mannering.

The big boss received a memo from MetO which prompted the go ahead for the gritting in Croydon. We shall see.

Passed a gritter dropping Little Plum (damson?) at Beavers...

There's the occasional spot of something wet in the air - pretty sure it's not snow sadly :(

Temperature has stabilised at 2C, but DP has dropped back to -1C.

Spoke too soon, temperature 2.1C.

No snow anywhere nearby except IMBY

Lovely to see the elham valley white again-albeit a day long dusting

Slushy side roads will be bad tomorrow am!
