Just looking at the 18z snow risk, it's a massive upgrade from the 12z for our entire region. Almost solid red throughout Weds into Thurs.

That's an exciting chart and the by far and away the best one I've seen in two years, 48 hours out as well..

Certainly cold here, lets hope we can get some snowfall over the coming week. It's a shame that all the events seem marginal and hence will go down to the wire. But then when is it ever simple to get the conditions so many want.

Goodnight.

PS. JMA by Thursday would probably bring snow showers in from the north sea as the flow is cold enough (don't know how trustworthy it is though).

The old mulled wine heating option - cheaper and more fun than British Gas :)

I said earlier this morning I'm praying the winds come from the NE/E Weds/Thurs..maybe more so Thursday early hours?, if so the North Sea will pepper us, I can feel it in my waters....an in that case keep an eye on the precipitation coming out of Holland  :yahoo:

Temp is holding at 1.7oC and still cloudy so that is keeping the frost at bay for now
