I can see the cloud and I must say it looks like a snow cloud.

Not dark grey but a sort of shallow grey.

3.3C, DP -0.6.

The temp is worrying, so if anything falls it might fall as sleet.

Spoke too soon...more flurries. Cobra meeting?

Well I'm as marginal as you can get with my mountainous 7M asl however some times being in suburbs just tips the balance whereas in Westminster I gather it would have been mostly rain/sleet. It has stopped now. :p

Just had a few flakes floating around in the wind for about 3 minutes then it stopped.

Barely worth mentioning under normal circumstances but it's still more than we had in winter 2013/14!

Snowing at Watford and settling in patches - looking at the radar it looks like a string of showers queuing up along the M4.

Edit:

1113 hours - ooh, the sun has come out now and the snow is stopping.

Just had a few flakes here on the Hadleigh Downs ( 78m asl ) - ironically just as my son's Easyjet flight went over us on his way to a skiing holiday.

Should have stayed here !

Some pretty black clouds heading this way, so fingers crossed for more.

Light snow for around 2 minutes. Disappointing, but not unexpected
