A real warning-fest on the MetO app. Even have lightning for Friday lunchtime. Plague of frogs for Saturday.

Long post coming up :D

So tonight will be wet and mild for most of the night. Hopefully this will clear by morning.

Tomorrow

post-17424-0-05361800-1421092635_thumb.p

Moderate westerly winds

Rain clears to leave a day of sunshine and showers. These will be of rain during daylight hours

Temperatures

nmmuk-0-24-0.png?12-18

7-10C, cooling off later.

Tomorrow night

post-17424-0-88485200-1421092637_thumb.p

We have some troughs running across southern England, these will produce bands of showers, these could be wintry in places

nmmuk-0-41-0.png?12-18

temperatures generally 1-2C, so maybe some places could get a few flakes.

Wednesday

post-17424-0-70854100-1421092640_thumb.p

A strengthening south westerly wind

A mostly dry day, though cloud will increase later on.

Temperatures

nmmuk-0-49-0.png?12-18

4-7C

Wednesday night

post-17424-0-25358500-1421092643_thumb.p

The winds will strengthen from the south west, still uncertainty about how strong the winds will be, but generally 50-60mph gusts widely, maybe 70+ in exposed locations.

A mild night at around 10C

Thursday

post-17424-0-24259800-1421092646_thumb.p

A fresh westerly wind

After the gales overnight, Thursday looks calmer as the isobars open out a little bit. The strongest winds being over Scotland and Northern England. Again there could be some showers mixed in with sunny spells.

Temperatures - 6-9C

More later.

Stopped raining here, wind has eased a bit. Shame the street looks like a battle of raves and parties has taken place thanks to all the bins blowing up the road last night spilling their contents of waste as they went.

SM not posting is not a good sign for snow prospects tomorrow night. I'd be happy with just a shower or two of the white stuff.

Still very mild yes...GFS 18z has upgraded our snow for Weds morning, looking like much heavier PPN reaching our area!

Friday

post-17424-0-40170500-1421100740_thumb.p

Light westerly wind.

A cold day with band of rain moving east along the south coast. This could be wintry.

So a potential risk of snow. But a long way off for now.

Temperatures - 3-5C

Raining heavily here in Reading. But hopefully a different type of precipitation in 24 hours plus! Glad I'm back for the new term as it seems to improve my chances of seeing a snowflake drastically from living in London over holidays.

Bucketing it down here but there's my first flake on the Met app at 0600 Wednesday. Ridiculously exciting even though it probably won't happen let alone snow properly.
