It was a dry month ( 49.9 mm at Buxton ) but in this area December 1933 was much drier with Buxton recording just 13.2 mm and other local stations recording between 11 and 17 mm.

Yes 1933 was driest here at 14 mm   with 2010 at 24mm[hadn't realised it was so dry] and 1926 with 26mm!!
