A dry and mainly clear night after an initial increase in cloud, and rise in temperature, during the first half of the evening as an area of showers moved south to the west of here.

Currently it's clear and sunny with the remnants of  yesterday evening's thin snow cover mixed with the hoar frost.

Clear spells and some sleet and rain showers last night, these freezing on impact with the ground, little wind.

Sunny spells and dry after a few freezing rain showers pre dawn, rather cold, light to moderate variable to west breezes.

Some shade frost and ice remained all afternoon.

Looks like all change tomorrow with south westerly winds bringing cloud and rain for some areas and temperatures around 7 to 9c for England and Wales

A cold and clear day with frost from this morning remaining in the shade. Partly cloudy during the evening as the front approaches but it has still managed to be a colder day than any since March 2013.
