I have just seen the best shooting star I've ever seen. It was not like the average shooting star which are gone in the blink of an eye and not very bright. This however, was quite the opposite, and fairly slow moving in comparison. At a guess, something bigger than the specks of dust that we normally see. Sorry but no photos. Wonder if anyone else saw this?

summer of 95 you beat me to it but yeah probs a geminid between the 7th and the 16th peaks around the 13th and my fav meteorite shower of the year, The Geminids is different to other meteor showers as Geminid meteors originate from an asteroid, as opposed to a comet, meaning they are very rocky and gritty, making them slightly easier to see than other showers.
