5.0C for me thanks

Could be a wise choice given the uncertainties highlighted in your winter forecast, it's a month which could go either way and I've revised mine on the premise that around the third week we'll see deep cold taking hold and prior to that the overall temps will be around average to slightly below average.

After going for a cool November and getting that wrong the mild weather to continue but not as excessively so as other months. So 6.4c for me!

Having just looked through the 12z runs they are really very poor. The GEFS are pretty poor as well tonight. As there is no real sign of any deep cold at all over the first half of the month I'm going for 5.3 CET.

0.3

would like to go subzero but with 7-8 C for a few days to start, and possibly -1 average from 4th to 31st that equates to 0.3 so. :cold:  :cold:  :cold:

eh? UK central England temps! Atlantic air will mostly dominate

5.2C for me please.  Pretty average to mild but maybe a cold spell during the second half of the month, before a warm up towards the end.

I would like 5.6C please, which will probably be enough to make the annual CET the highest on record (though not by enough to make it statistically distinguishable from 2006).  I think we could have a month of mainly westerly and north-westerly winds.
