Currently 2.7c with a dew point of 0.2c...

Could we be unlucky out west?

Hope so I am worse than an over excited child at Christmas when there is a chance of snow :cold-emoji:

Sleet turned to light snow but we will need intense showers to allow anything to settle!

Surely them showers cant be that far away now, like an impatient child when it comes to snow. Can i ask if someone with more knowledge than me whether the warning is mainly for these showers showing now or is a more organised band of snow predicted through the night?

that doesn't look organised to you - a right good clump of showers there me thinks - more coming overnight too

Good point, being greedy perhaps and nothing has happened yet, always like to know if there's more on the way :hi:

nothing wrong with being greedy - anything that falls tonight should be of the white variety and today it's had a chance to dry up too and get colder even - so should lay fairly easily too

Although the outside temp is dropping my dewpoint is rising and giving me a mini panic. Every year I swear I'm not getting caught up in all this excitement and nervous waiting again, but when the time comes it's just irresistible.

I watch 2 local weather stations, one in Bute Park and the other at Cardiff Bay Barrage. I kind of live between the 2. Despite the closeness of the stations they vary by a few degrees. I never know which one I should stick to and believe.

Come on precipitation, plough down to us. Please.

Snowing here.

And looking ahead, eighteen hours of snow, some of it heavy, forecast for Southeast Wales on Monday.
