I'm not sure what it is with S Wales, must be the wettest part of Britain 99% of the year round yet when it comes to the freezing weather we're good for frost on the cars in the morning but the precipitation seems to go all shy on us.

First morning for a while that I didn't have to scrape the frost off the car this morning though despite the tempeature being sub zero last night in the early hours

Anyone know if the beast from the east will reach Wales

What beast from the east.

Another dry cold and sunny day here today and the frost has stayed on the ground in the shade.

IMO much better than mild South Westerlies and rain.

Not really the ring or Halo is a sign of rain ,cirrus cloud at 20.000 feet a sign of approaching front.

Looks like its fizzling at the moment, temps are too mild today at 5.3c max and still only a north wind.

Cold NE to east wind may bring a surprise tonight though.

It feels really mild stood out in the sun here, spring-like even. :( I was bitterly cold outside at 8am though.

Very icy out there this morning (-3c) and a stiff wind and a lot of people were complaining how cold it felt daytime.

Personally much prefer cold weather like this than mild weather wind and gales.

Still frosty and icy in the shade.

This page is really slowing down now.

C'mon guys, we don't just have to chat about the snow... although with high pressure in charge, the weather isn't going to be that exciting.

Enjoy the sunshine!

It has been blinking freezing here all day even though the sun was out the breeze really made it cold, but as others have said prefer dry to wet weather.
