Best chance for any snow showers for wales for west wales is best today, maybe tomorrow the east may clip a few odd light snow flurries/grains from the brief NE-ly.

Got down to -2.6c but clouded over temps now was -0.6c

Had a bit of snow here thismorning but nothing much and of course I was asleep so missed it! Hope some showers can make it this way today for a bit of the white stuff!

That renewed streamer currently spreading into Anglesey is heading in the direction of Southeast Wales. I know it has a lot of land to travel over which will sap it and cause it to fizzle into nothing more than a few grains but... but... but...

It happened on December 17th 2010, and if it's happened once it can happen again!

Well the mod thread says drier this week, that's got to mean its gonna snow! After 'the snow' last week,oh no there was none! It's got to be the opposite!

After a disappointing weekend scanning raintoday and checking the dew point, I had given up on this cold spell. However, its just started snowing moderately and looking at the radar there is more to come. It's those fabulous large flakes you get in marginal situations. Temp is a bit high (2.8) and the dew point is marginal (0.2), but with a bit more intensity it might stick. What a surprise, just shows you should never give up!

Suprised to see snowfall mentioned in Swansea .

Maybe because im not there so it is bound to stop before I get back.

I'm not due back for a few hours yet so that's good news for swansea then.

Today whilst travelling Chepstow to aberdare ...

Temperatures ranged from 5 degrees to 2 ish in aberdare now .

Light drizzle here though .

Met office yellow warning just out so that means it's unlikely to happen .
