colder air filtering further south now into south wales, more chance of wet snow/snow in these showers. Short window though before the less cold air arrives.

Bit of shame that Brady. Still this prolonged shower was unexpected. Here's to the weekend now. Wind has been fierce!

There's been heavy snow over the NW wales for the last hour. About 2-3 inches in favourite spots... Sign of things to.come hopefully. I think we may do.very well over weekend here and in sw wales

Eased off now got around 3inches currently,wind maybe turned more west/NW.... XC shows west.

My partner is working in Crymych today and has messaged to say coming down quite thick there.

Gwersyllt about a mile or so from the town centre.

 

Gwersyllt is very sheltered from a westerly flow, the heavy precipitation would be falling just to your west. I Imagine Brymbo and Coedpoeth area a mile or so west of you have snow.

Grew up in Coedpoeth....just makes it worse!! When it snows up there it can really snow! Not quite as much as the likes of Gwynfryn but I never had any complaints back then.

hoping this shower thats about to arrive in cardiff is a bit more wintry than so far. Snowing in pontypridd but tends to be almost 2c colder than here at times.
