I don't think there's going to much getting stuck going on today.

Depends where you are - valleys might be a bit tricky later on tonight.

It's trying hard up here but it's rather sleety at the moment.Flakes are quite big which is what you always get with a warm sector.

9 ASL and rain, rain and some more rain. Not particularly heavy, just wet and damp. Not a single flake of snow have I seen yet.

More wet snow than sleet now but no signs of sticking yet.

Well if it's not sticking up with you we have no chance further down the valleys - especially if you are having sleety stuff.

I think I can say this cold snap (average January weather) is over for me but I did c a lot of snow this morning even tho it didn't stick!! So im a bit happier lol. But what I have learned over the years is we usually have snow showers/sleet events about a week or 2 weeks b4 we have a proper cold spell. E.g Dec 10 and January 12 we had snow showers etc before the real cold hit us. So my fingers are crossed for a proper cold spell to hit us soon. This is just what I've noticed and not based on any science so please don't blame me if we don't have 1 lol

Tongwynlais - just went outside - it's nowhere near as cold and it's pouring down with rain. Obviously quite dark and the rain looks set in for a while.

Not holding out much hope for tonight unless someone tells me it is supposed to get colder later tonight in latest updates.

Intensity is definitely picking up now and starting to stick. We just needed the temps to drop a bit . Could be interesting few hours so take care if you're out and about

In the last half hour the precipitation over Anglesey seems to be turning more to sleet or snow according to radar

Cold rain is probably the worst weather I can think of tbh :/ would rather it was 12c than 4c so we could at least not have the heating on so much...

Radar is a liar with regards to my little bit of Anglesey lol.  Had a bit of rain but that's it really.
