Covering of snow here I just got up as was having a lie in, very surprising! A slushy less than a cm and still coming down.

As I am so close to the coast I'm not expecting anything major here, but it would just be great to see falling snow, which would be the first time for almost exactly two years. Dew point is currently 3.4, but reassured that there is/has been snow in Crosshands aready.

Haven"t seen thunder snow since 1979 looks a possibility tonight as showers increasing ,great weather watching tonight !

Tonight:

Further hail, sleet and snow showers, with the risk of lightning, will push in from the west with icy stretches and snow accumulations to low levels possible away from coast. Minimum Temperature -2C.
