I'm higher than dowlais and I'm at 330m. Must be right on the snow line. Going from big flakes of snow to rain then back to snow. Frustrating to say the least!

Was pretty good in Brecon earlier. Quite flumpy around Storey Arms. Almost white out going over to Hirwaun. Rhigos had settling snow on the road. Obviously as you then descend it all disappears. But, after last year's snow drought, a pleasure to see things turning white®.

according to the met office the temp will rise today and be around 5 this evening.maybe its best to do an Elsa today and "let it go". Plenty more chances for snow over the next 9 weeks so all hope not lost yet

Was hoping for some snow before going back to Aberystwyth next week, this weekend may give something with wintery showers I hope! As I doubt I will see much when back in Aberystwyth. Temp here now 5.2C with moderate rain!

Temperatures over Ireland dropping now so it should be us in Wales to see the temperature drop next, its once the rain starts to pivot where our chances increase as colder air digs behind, so patience is still needed!

Snow here now in Mold, NE Wales. Rain just turned about 10 minutes ago. Not sticking yet but proper big, albeit wet,  flakes coming down fast. 125m asl.

Gone up to a barmy 5.2°C now - does not even feel cold outside.

Not a lot of PPN around later either by the looks of it - this has been a real damp squib from what was being said late last night and even earlier today.

Been pouring down all day here in Morriston, don't expect any of the white stuff but a surprise flake or two would be nice and festive :smiliz19:

The one consolation is that temperatures are unlikely to rise any further and like Panayiotis said, the colder air over Ireland will move our way over the coming hours.

Whether there's sufficient precipitation around by that time is debatable.

Leaving for the games earlier there was heavy sleet but it turned milder and went back to rain.

Got a covering of wet snow but now really temps have risen as the snow has turned to a light wintry mix temp was 1.7c now 3.2c

It`ll get colder later as the NE/N wind comes in more snow of sorts.
