Which radar should I look at to see where the showers are coming from? Is it the MO rainfall chart?

Hi.   Try this one  :)  Also Net weather's radar lets you zoom in on your postcode area.

I've got a few videos but I'm struggling to upload so I'll try and get some pics. My sister is meant to travel from Edinburgh to Oslo tomorrow and will have to leave Glasgow early. The snow has stopped here and I've had no time to check the radar so is anymore snow in the way.

Reports of chaos in Glasgow City Centre. Don't know if it's snow related, although if it is that's quite pathetic for the amount that's fallen.

The game is on by the way so for those of us missing the showers tonight, and wanting to see some snow, it's probably best to watch the game

Yesterday, BBC weather were predicting lows of -12c overnight Sunday into Monday, and today, that has gone down to -14c.

BBC Scotland however are not predicting anything out of the ordinary - with mid single figure lows. Just how can the two differ so wildly?

Well, that was a fantastic journey home (sarcasm).

Very heavy snow in Cumbernauld at about 2:30 then it was ok until I headed towards Kilmarnock. A good inch on most of the fields there.

Then as I almost hit Thornhill it turned into an outright blizzard. In literally 5 mins the road was covered white and we were crawling at 20 mph.

Not too much here in Dumfries (around 2cm) which is now melting as light sleet is falling, I hope the temperature falls a bit to harden up the snowpack and/or a wee top up overnight.... :)
