Doesn't appear to have been any more here since I was up earlier but looks as if a shower could be incoming now.

A thin covering here too. Every time. I've got up during the night we've had snow falling but we've only managed a slushy covering.

Only a thin slushy covering here this morning, but it's a start!

Probably about 1.5 inches overnight. I saw that the plough had made its first trip of the year along the road on my way to work.

Just a skinny patchy cover of thawing slush from overnight but calming down a bit this morning. Looks like a good day todaay, not so wild that you have to watch for flying saucers but enough going on to keep you alert.  Just now there's a big orange sky to the east and a heavy hail shower. Off out...

White here but there's ice under that snow and people are struggling to get out of the village

Actually got caught in a little blizzard on the school walk! Bit fat wet (very cold) snow chunks. Too wet on the ground too settle. PAths were also deceptively slippy!

I can see that there is a covering up on Kinnoull hills etc so maybe Ally had it settle as she is that bit higher?

What a difference 24 hours makes this time yesterday virtually all the snow had gone and the Braemar snow gate was open it closed around lunchtime yesterday and remains shut with a good covering again

Heavy lying snow in Maddiston when I left. More sleaty down the hill in Polmont. Rain between Polmont and Larbert. Snow lying in Cumbernauld. Rain in Glasgow. Well at least we get variety in Scotland. Hope there is still snow when I get home.

Drove over the back road to work this morning just to get some more decent snowfall. It was coming down in port but seemed to be on it's last "I'm Snow" legs at that altitude. Almost blizzard like driving through the Gryffe valley towards Paisley, however back to sleety muck when I got to Glasgow airport area.

Edit: although just spoke too soon it's snowing here (Paisley) now.

Had lovely heavy snow here around 8, lying on top of ice. First school run was a nightmare! By second school run it had turned sleety then stopped. Snowing again now.
