Just a washout here never even had any sleet. Still a good one for some Midlands members judging by the pics!

Back to graupel here again, a good sign :-)

Hopefully that colder air tucked in behind that Low Pressure system will ensure some sleet and snow starts ganging up on us again. Especially with the wintry shower chances tomorrow. :good:

just dry here, in a dry gap, should move in from the NW later

Have you managed to keep it all snow up there while the precipitation was falling? Sometimes the 20 miles between us can make all the difference.

Quite a lengthy dry gap by the looks of it...then could be a little bit of something interesting later again. Certainly going to be very icy by morning though.

Graupel and Snow still in Rugeley - hasn't not been Snow or hail since the initial 'turn'. Strange to see those around me with rain, we must literally be on the line!

Fingers and toes crossed!

Am pleased that we've seen something white so far this month, so definitely an improvement from last Winter already. :)

Back building is starting to get going over towards North Wales, I wouldn't give up hope yet, thing can develop out of nowhere like in 2012.

As long as you're holding at that temperature we know we'll be alright later on. You're very lucky though, we're getting mild sectored! Not a big one but it's enough. Still raining here. Not a hint of wintryness now.
