Easing off now and the snow that stuck is starting to melt away already. But a great 30 minutes!

It did start as light rain and I was up Beacon Hill when it did, one of the highest points of the West Midlands. So if it is raining with you now, don't despair...it could change.

The way it keeps missing telford is crazy, it quite often happens with heavy rain too. Any reason people mite know of?

Just goes to show that precipitation can crop up st the most unexpected times.

I wonder whether that blob over wales will come this way?

I reckon the blob over Wales is heading more Bridgnorth and Ludlow way. However, the way things have been developing this afternoon, who's to say it won't grow over more of the West Midlands?

One thing that was noticable right at the end of that shower, was how the snowflakes suddenly became much smaller showing that colder air is digging in.

Ohhh...it's so close. That blob over Wales is expanding...but looks like it's just going to miss!

I'm standing on a big hill in the park.

I'll video it in case it's the only snow we get this year lol.

Oh dear charts are gradually swiping away the one chance of snow (Wednesday) here, positive *trends* for the longer term but this whole winter has been *trends* that end up as -2 upper's and 6c drizzle come +0hrs, much rather see Tuesday/Wednesday upgrade instead of hopecasting easterlies at +192hrs.
