Lucky you MIA ....missed that five mins! Must admit haven't had a look at what the weather situation is, when it's this grim it ain't worth looking.

Currently 9.3c and just let me have a look........ Yes still ...GREY-GRIM-MUCK ....Then again who cares it's getting dark soon

Funnily enough ,Dancer, as the Sun set invisibly the Moon rose very visibly!!!!

So yes Tony, in south east warwickshire your Dad could have managed his sun shades, but it didn't reach here until too late!!!

As it has now cleared here, of course, the temp is starting to fall quite quickly. Currently at 7.7C

Already looking better than yesterday. Temperature currently around 5C, with clearing skies streaked with cloud.

Looking forward to the cool down next week. Didn't Dec 2010 begin with beautiful frosty days and spectacular accumulations of hoar frost?

Nice to see an hour of clear skies but more the muck is somehow back, although not drizzly. Where's it come from now, surely not the dreaded infill this late in the year?

Not had 7 hours in a day since the first half of September.

Weak fronts I suspect the cloud culprit today still sunny spells here.

Don't think this week will be quite so chill as you anticipate DWW, 5 to 7c more like it unless fog persists on any particular day.

By 1500 temps are usually dropping so they would be sub maximal.

MetO 5 day forecast giving me light SNOW for Friday morning! It's a promising start and nice to see even if the snow doesn't arrive.

Meanwhile, dull and grey here, no wind, dry, and 8C.

Wow,

Great to hear(probably mean see) .... and that's Met Office?

Temp still at 6.9C here with the relentless grey murk back. Looks like no diurnal heating for us today.

The cooler air seem to be pushing slowly your way for later.

Wind has gone round(More of a gentle breeze) has now moved to NE.

So cooler air is getting in and bringing North Sea crud.

I'm starting to forget what the sun looks like.

Did you not have a lovely sunny day yesterday Bish?

Yes it was completely gunked over by 11am yesterday, despite dawning clear, then it cleared an hour before sunset (ie 3pm). Looked and behaved just like that annoying infill cloud I thought we only get in summer.

Featureless murk again today, must have been for about 17 of the last 20 days. Never know if it's day or night at the moment

Good riddance to the most weatherless Autumn I can remember, bar two nice days early September and rogue frost nothings happened since the warmth ended in July here  .
