Snowing :cold:

That's great.

Would be better if we knew where you are....? (Pop your location in your profile?)

Hello and welcome, Vodkatini. It'd be handy if you could put your location into your avatar or signature so that we know where it's snowing.

Thanks T.M

Heavy snow forecast for Solihull on Wednesday, as per the latest Met Office update:

Trouble is, in my experience these forecasts tend to chop & change several times a day

PS good to have you back onboard, Andy

Haha. If only it was accurate. It had me down for 3 hours of light snow on saturday, but I didn't see a single flake. And that was at about t6 :p

Too late, we've claimed him as one of our own and dragged him to our snowless lair that is the SW/Central thread, where he'll have to make do with one snowflake every couple of years :D

Time to launch a rescue mission for poor old Andy, before it's too late!

Cover me - I'm going in.....

Liam Dutton's latest tweet suggests nothing major with regards to sleet and snow this week. The BBC week ahead forecast ealier suggested the same. It's things like this from the mouths of real professionals that cause me to lower my expectations. The computer generated forecasts and model outputs just help with the general trend.

We shall see and as I said earlier, I'm going into this week with an open mind as things do change rapidly.

It's reminders of the past when things have suddenly looked better or worse out of nowhere that makes every possible snow event exciting.
