Just been for a walk. The main road up to Sedgley is a mess. People are stuck and traffic is queuing already. Hope Dudley Council get out and sort it before the morning!

Sounds like the snow was heavy enough to surpass the real effect of grit tonight. Pretty sure when it quietens down for you guys shortly that will allow time for the council to get on top of it before morning.

We have a covering here now and it continues to snow reasably heavily. I'd estimate about 1cm has fallen.

Just half an hour of heavy snow and its still snowing

Just goes to show how even 20m's can make the difference. Started as rain and grew into a heavy snow spell here, sadly it was all wet and the flakes tiny so nothing stuck bar a few car windows. Not expecting anything else here now.

Might only be a few cm and not the 20cm of January and March 2013...but it's put the demons of 2014 to bed.

 

Now to think about how I'm going to get out of my road in the morning!
