Just curious if you guys can tell us how long its taking to turn to snow.

It's just starting to drizzle at 3C here.

Took about an hour here - just starting to see sleety flakes in either the rain now.

(So annoying - finally got rid of the old man for a couple of hours to watch Downton Abbey, and now I don't know whether to look out the window or at the telly!)

Easing off here....and now am starting to wonder if we will see much more...despite what I said earlier, I have to now agree that it's pushing through far too quickly.

Still just rain here in Redditch.

Hope I dont need the huskies to get me to work in Redditch tomorrow.

Ah, Mr Benn - was just thinking about you!

I'm sure the roads will be clear by the morning (or perhaps you could just ring in sick, there's plenty of bugs going round the Midlands you can blame!) ☺ï¸

It does seem to be piling through quickly. Certainly can't see it lasting until dawn tomorrow!

supposed to be driving up to Warrington this evening (half way sleepover on way to Glasgow - one 7/8 hr trip with kids aged 0, 3 and 5 is too much...)

M40, M6 to Premier Inn junction 21 (classy)

Would appreciate some updates on M6 conditions if people have any?

Looks good at The Hawthorns! Jeff Stelling says it's coming down well and Chris Kamara actually in the ground was singing let it snow!

Meanwhile still it rains in WR9...

It is starting to pivot...however, I fear it may have gone too far east already for any pivot to benefit us. At least we've got some very decent snowfall out of it with a layer of snow on the ground.
