Surprised it's that high, mine's -0.4C

 

I expect you to see your first snow on Mon 1st Dec, perfect setup for your location, pants for rest of us

 

your namesake as well! PM air sucks for me

-1C here now, but a lot more of that annoying high cloud than there was earlier. Just dipped below this morning too. One all night frost for 2014 might happen...

"Polar maritime"- junk in winter unless you are above 300m. Even with uppers of -5 or lower all it gives is temperatures of 3 or 4C day and night with cold rain showers, that might turn sleety just to tease us. The temperature for some reason just never drops with that stuff, even on clear nights with deep cold air in place. Arctic Maritime is the real McCoy.

Cold here this morning - Coldest for 18 months here in the centre of midlands.

 

Currently at -2.6C

Overnight low of -3.1C

 

Sky gradually filling in with stratus from the south.

Hard frost this morning. Currently 0.1°C after an overnight low of -2.6°C

I must be in a slightly more open location Bish....

 

Temp has just gone to 0.0C in the last minute and it is correct as can just see the hoar frost starting to turn to drops on the trees in the hazy sun, but not yet in the shade.

Overnight low of -3.7C. No record but decent enough. Misty more than foggy this morning. Now cleared to leave a bright morning, some sun, but cloud moving in. Still frost on the grass.

Coldest night in some time last night with a low of -2.4c, max today of just 4.4c so far, sunny start but turned grey and grotty.

Good evening all, been busy over the last few days so haven't had time to look in so in reading the last last few pages things have been a little on the cool side then  :cold:  :cold: :cold:

Lovely to see some happy/enjoyable post to read.

 

Bish love the snow you've had :shok: almost forgotten what falling snow looked like, wish i could set that 'GIF' as my back ground on my screen (tried  it! but wasn't falling) :whistling:

 

Anyway nice to see some subzero temps and quite a hard ground frosts and lasting into the late morning! lets hope we get lots more & some Bish weather  :D

I went up to the Wilson's Arms (Knowle High Street) for the promised drink on the first flake of snow! 

 

I must admit I didn't see any snow falling tonight, but it was cold and wet.....

 

Don't worry I'm going up again tomorrow for another celebration drink.

 

Probably thursday . oh yes I may even  make friday.......

 

It is going to snow everyday this week isn't it?

 

I've told my wife it will already!

Light rain/drizzle continued throughout the day with thick Fog forming during the afternoon. A max temp of 6.5c, 3.8mm rain so far today and currently 6c, With a N/N/E 4mph wind.

Just got in from another day at the Wilsons. (honest).

This time my family came too (I think my wife was checking up on my alibi, she even called in her sister!) .

 

Its still very misty and dull (dank) around here after a max of 7.2C its now at 6.9C and starting to fall.

 

Oh well, wont be long till my first flake of snow this winter

He cheers up!
