Lol ,must be the only place in northern hemisphere without it !!!....

We get more than our fair share of windy weather though.

Short term - a bleak picture here heavy rain tonight and more so tomorrow night into Sat means likelihood of widespread localised flooding - ground is very saturated at the moment. Severe gales in exposed locations overnight and again tomorrow night. Saturday should bring heavy snow showers over higher ground and perhaps lower ground at times. A volatile highly disturbed 48 hours - wild.

A bit breezy here at the moment. Rain showers earlier. Apparently snow flurries forcast here sat/sun. My mum lives in Donegal, North West Ireland and they forcast strong winds tonight. Stena line sailing out from Liverpool tonight so cant be too bad here for the winds.
