Saturday's wind warning has been removed for here now. Is that 'cos it's not going to be that bad, or are they crafting an apocalyptic replacement as I type?

Very heavy rain and strong winds all day, all 3 rivers on flood alert, however I've visited all 3 Rivers and they look normal, so I can only assume that there has been a significant amount of rainfall over higher ground

Raining on and off here, a few heavier bursts, a bit windy but nothing to get excited about, I think it's cold but then I have no blood in me, I can feel cold in the summer

if i decided to go on holiday, say for a week out of the UK, the UK would have record snow that week, netweather record viewers, Stafford to have 18inches of snow, and when I'm due back the Atlantic will crash through

don't need models etc if i had holiday, cos it would be snow

Same here, went away one February with snow falling and it was still there, topped up when we came back a week later.

Also away on a Christmas cruise in 2009 watching news coverage of heavy snow shutting Manchester airport and closing roads in this region.

By the time we came back it had all melted although thankfully we were here for the heavy snow which followed in early January.
