Wet snow, not laying on the ground, laid on cars though, temp currently +2C, not bad really compared to last year :)

Still snowing here, settled on main roads as well now, about an inch, slip road onto M62 J22 closed for a while.

Just watched sky news and I found out that sheffield got thick snow cover and heavy snow falling too. :shok:

Temp hasn't moved for about an hour now. 1.2C with a slight melt going on. The rain has stopped though now, so what we have is safe until at least tomorrow afternoon :)

I guess that was inevitable with the flow starting to come from the Irish sea. The showers tomorrow should also be of rain along the coast and a wintry mix further inland. Good for the Pennines though.

Ahem, well considering our biggest EVER snowfalls have come from that annoying puddle, then I'll not be going B&Q for that rock anytime soon!

In the pub earlier on with a few pints watching the snow come down, couple walked in asking for a b&b as they'd totalled their car on the Buxton-Whaley road getting caught out by the sudden snowfall. More snow today seen than the whole of winter 2013 combined.

Well it did snow here today but the grand total was 0cm laying snow. Don't know what happened. Pleased some of you got some laying snow. I was just relieved to see some falling!

There was a thaw yesterday, but what was left at midnight yesterday has now frozen, completely clear, and still quite a covering of snow here.
