If some of the charts are showing what they are now by this time next week, I'd be happy to settle for that for the big day.  North Westerly airstream with the possibility of at least 'falling' snow in wintry showers.

....and that's the trouble... still 9 days away.... <<keep the faith!>>

A mate of mine told me that he'd heard from a reliable source that we were in for a white Christmas with heavy snow and bitter cold and then getting even worse towards New Year with the worst January for many years.

I didn't know I had any friends who worked in the Daily Express headline department.

And that's just for starters.

The thing is though that if the models are to be believed, snow could easily be on the Christmas Day menu.

Well it started out dry, went to chester zoo at teatime for the christmas lantern walk, was a few degrees cooler over there than leyland and half way round the outdoor lantern walk, wandering about pushing a buggy and carrying great big coloured lanterns n a stick lol, the heavens opened!!! They only had one shelter where the elves were lol, getting micturated wet through is an understatement !! But it was fun!! Motorway coming back the rain was atrocious!!! Spray everywhere, still pishing down now!

Looking at the charts thing could get busy on here very soon :)....

Yes you could right.

I've ordered the spare chairs and tables in case we get a big influx of folk but not sure whether the marquee will be needed.

Get shut of the tumbleweed from outside, sort some food and a few cases of beer and we're sorted.

If in the extreme unlikely chance that our forecast snowmageddon downgrades into an "at least it will be mild" drizzle fest I'll have the beer if that's ok.

Anyway off to the Trafford Centre now and probably call at Sledges Are Us on the way home.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?
