about bloody time too :)....

Not be long before she's saying, at least it won't be mild and thankfully the North West didn't miss out on the severe snow currently gripping much of the country.

She ramped a bit last night as well, before realising and adding 'this would be the worst case scenario' when she talked of blizzards and frequent snow showers.  My glass is half empty about Friday's prospects too, but you never know, stranger things have happened.

Hammering it down, possibly a bit of sleet mixed with it but 3.7c is just to high for snow.

Heavy hail showers this evening leaving shortlived coverings - certainly a wintry feel to things.

 

Expecting this thread to be quite busy this time tomorrow, speculating on snow prospects, as ever it will come down to nowcasting, the track of the low and fronts is not nailed yet..
