Cloud incoming

You know where to send it when you've done, don't you.

I sure do but nothing came from those clouds they just went straight over my house with the strength of the wind

BBC forecast still reluctant to show much snow in the showers for the northwest apart northern areas with elevation. Hopefully overnight with lower temps could bring a few surprises

Blowy 7.5 c here ,no showers yet !!...

Current temp here 5.2 degrees, shows the difference the influence of being close to the coast makes and elevation. We've had a few shortlived hail showers this morning but nothing long lasting. The winds are certainly very gusty. Skies are predominantly overcast, and I will expect some homegrown lake district showers to form during the afternoon, evaporative cooling taking affect allowing greater risk of snow down to low levels.

usual Irish sea shower killer !!..

I hope they will pep up again in the afternoon as the gfs suggests.

We already have the colder air over us and with the sea being warmer than normal it is a recipe for beefy showers but of course theory doesn't always work in reality.

The wind calmed down a bit but has really got going again and as my house is a gable end the noise is incredible whipping round the side of the house.

6.5 c here slowly falling ,bitter out walking dog !!.

That still sounds rather high. The bbc forecast was showing 5c for our region.

Had a brief light hail shower before but thats it, the irish sea needs to get it act together.
