My mate and her hubby have rented a cottage with a log fire in Anglesey how apt that it should snow for them o can't think of anything nicer than being in a cottage with log fire roaring

rain and icy rain is starting to transition to snow flakes now, as the rain is quite heavy,  very slow process though. It's snowing in parts of NE Wales like Pentre Halkyn and Caerwys but it's not settling like some would have you believe!

started drizzling/snizzling here.

 

Just been to shop to get lottery for tomorrow and box of chocolates for tonight's snow and I can feel the drizzle/snizzle in my face.

My car says its 4oc here, and it's raining lightly.

I won't hold my breath for the snow as bbc/met office has me down for light rain.

Unless anybody else in Manchester is expecting it?

One VERY interesting note currently is that the winds have veered SE'erly, we could begin to start dragging in colder surface temperatures from further south, no influence from the Irish Sea and the colder uppers are well on the way.

Looking out towards the Wirral the sky has gone a dark orangy colour. It could be snow coming??

The pitch at the Hawthorns is white over at the game between West Brom and Man City now.

It's looking good and for our region as well this evening. Don't want to jinx it now.

Now large snowflakes here in Solihull.

reported by my granddaughter 5 minutes ago!!!!

 

Temperature falling now down to 1.0C.
