Well still snowing here for an hour now and not stopped, pretty heavy still too... had some big flakes earlier and a slight covering now.

 

this is more like it :) will be heading out up the a1 to chester-le-street very soon so will see exactly how patchy this now is and what its like at low lying areas.

Just got back in from sledging and making a small snowman.  There was a 1cm covering here.  Temp now 0c.

Absolutely nothing here just cloud what a load of rubbish this cold spell is going to end up being...'coldest spell in 2 years' and we aren't even going to get a proper snowfall :/

To much was made out for the coldest spell in two years. It's not difficult for it to happen when you look back at the last couple of winters. And it does say coldest, not snowiest.

Never been so excited at this high level for snow for years just been so long since we last had it !

it's snowing in thornaby and were normally one of the mildest in northeast haha but yeah for you coastal guys may have to come in land but good luck anyways pal!
