Windy night here too now with recent gust of 40mph.

Temperature drop has shocked me, from 7.9c just after 11:15pm to 1.4c at 1am.

Nice clump of snow showers heading SE across Gloucestershire into Wiltshire...might give a dusting/covering for the bath to Swindon areas over the next hour or so

Light showers here this morning. Rain with a touch of sleet but nothing more. Should be a crisp sunny day when these few showers clear. Wind overnight was incredible.

Bit breezy last night, but beautiful out there this morning. With no snow around our neck of the woods, we're heading off to the coast for a walk into Sandbanks, then maybe back via Shaftesbury way with one eye on the radar, hoping to catch a flake or two.

13.1mm of rain yesterday.

No impressive temperature drops here. A low of 3.6°C

Currently sunny but very windy, temp at 6.1°C

I see there's a widespread ice warning out, I'm not sure about anyone else down this way, it's dry as a bone here- the wind helped get rid of most of the moisture, you wouldn't have known it was wet yesterday.

I can only imagine, it maybe down to the showers creeping in?

Well if we couldn't muster anything wintry out of that low, today is the next best thing - deep blue skies, sunshine and feeling chilly at 4.5C. Now looking forward to a hard frost overnight.

Well if we couldn't muster anything wintry out of that low, today is the next best thing - deep blue skies, sunshine and feeling chilly at 4.5C. Now looking forward to a hard frost overnight.

 

I've been looking at those showers I wonder if they will make it across wales with enough intensity?

 

Yes it will be a novelty to see a frost mid winter :yahoo:  :rofl:

Yep, was certainly very dry out there this morning, I can only think that puddles could have iced over in some of the deeper countryside areas.

just had our forecast in for Somerset any showers dying away by 20.00 some showers over Exmoor may fall as snow but no accumulations min temp tonight -1.5

Its sleet/wet snow in Shaftesbury, Dorset now. Current temp 2.1c between huge flakes and wet sleety snow.

No showers have hit east mendip so far. :sorry:  showers all around but none have hit.

It's just rain here so nothing exciting:( temp far too high as well

 

Temperature is only 3c here so a heavy shower could easily produce snow if it made it here imo
