If you put the wind gusts overlay on the NW v6 radar images, assuming it is relatively accurate I would suggest Exmoor and other parts of East Devon are regions which could get some wet snow over the next few hours. Perhaps Salisbury Plain area could join in too, tis a struggle elsewhere right now though but don't despair something might pop up later on.

Heavy soft hail, followed by wet snow then drizzle over the last hour or so here in Stroud, a bit wintry lol ;)

Our roads in Probus have turned white....... With hail!.

Anyway it's better to see that then the rain.

That's more than most of us have seen this winter :smiliz65:

Didn't get a single shower overhead today.

This is the remains of the shower that dumped rain and sleet on West Bay around half eleven this morning heading across the Channel.

A few other showers inland this afternoon but they were all of rain.

Looking at the models, first 10 days of jan now looking poor for cold.

That's a big chunk of winter gone for me, down on the lizard.

Once we get passed about valentine's day(feb14) the chances for any prolonged cold spell disappear very quickly.

Hope i'm wrong but getting that sinking feeling again for this winter. Hey-hoe,maybe next winter.

Beautiful cold/crisp morning, but expected a colder night; down to - 1c and now up to 3c.

Tonight, under clear skies and light winds, expecting maybe -4/5c out yer in the countryside!!

Still feeling jealous of our northern colleagues with all that snow cover!!

Low of -1.0c as the breeze briefly dropped around Dawn.

Currently 5.4c with glorious sunny skies. Still a touch of frost in some shaded spots.

Met Office forecasting a low of -5c for Ottery St Mary tonight, and we're usually a couple degrees lower than their predictions.. Should certainly be the lowest since February 2012 anyway, as winter 2012/2013 only managed -4.4c in December and March.

Cracking day out there, just driven through Wareham, and didn't see Mapantz, so I figured you were probably in the pub. Grit lorries out in Wareham, what do they know that we don't as it hasn't been that cold, only -0,7C last night, maybe they figure its going to be colder tonight.
